For me, it simultaneously represents warmth,\u003cbr\u003epassion, memory, vulnerability, and also something threatening. The longer I\u003cbr\u003elook at the image, the less it appears to me as a portrait. It feels more like a\u003cbr\u003epresence slowly emerging from the background.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI find the combination of digital and analog work particularly exciting. The\u003cbr\u003epiece was developed digitally, produced on brushed Butlerfinish® aluminum,\u003cbr\u003eand then further processed by me with acrylics. It is precisely this hybrid that interests me:\u003cbr\u003ethe connection between technical precision and the human trace.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e“Shining” is not meant to reveal everything at once.
